Our 2nd year students impress in London!

We've had some brilliant feedback for the performances of our second year students!

Before Easter break, our second year students performed 3 exciting plays as part of their Production Module; Animal Farm by George Orwell, directed by Paul Sadot, Fugee by Abi Morgan, directed by Dr. Nic Fryers and Pornography by Simon Stephens, directed by Paul Edwards were performed in Drama Studio 1 at Bucks New University; cast and directors of Fugee and Pornography then made their way to trendy Hoxton, east London, where they performed again at the Courtyard Theatre.

Here is the feedback we received from the Courtyard Theatre itself:

It is obviously much easier to accommodate students when they conduct themselves as professionally as yours did. Please pass on from Tim, Tom and myself that we thought they were well mannered and dare I say it, very talented. We look forward to any proposals or ideas they wish to approach us with upon graduation. And I really don't encourage that very often.

And some words from Dr. Nic Fryers, our course leader and director of Fugee:

It was a fantastic opportunity to take the show outside the university to a leading fringe venue in the heart of London. The varied shows attracted a high level of acclaim, and each demonstrated what the course prides itself on: students being aware of how their work might be developed beyond the university in a professional setting, taking creative risks, and working as an ensemble to create magical performance work.

Well done to our students and everyone involved!
