This week we are taking our students on a trip to the Hauser & Wirth Gallery in London, where we will see the latest exhibition by the visual artist Pipilotti Rist.
Worry Will Varnish (2014) uses video projections to transform the gallery into an immersive and sensory environment. The exhibition is described as a journey inside the human body, based on a three-dimensional animation; it explores the relationship between internal and external, how
individuals are linked to the tissues and blood vessels of other
organisms, and in so doing, suggests relationships with the universe
at large.
